Abstract

Regional politics and REGIONALISM new strategy in the aftermath of the Cold War and the collapse of the bipolar world counts. Islamic Republic of Iran, as a sovereign state, sovereign and independent of the powers in the world after THE ISLAMIC REVOLUTION seeks to achieve a leading position in THE MIDDLE EAST and THE PERSIAN GULF. The purpose of this paper is to review comments and introduce new REGIONALISM and challenges of REGIONALISM in Iran's strategic policies in THE MIDDLE EAST and THE PERSIAN GULF. The method is described in this article and using library resources. The findings show that there are two general attitudes about REGIONALISM look at the possibility of promoting a strategy of REGIONALISM IR Iran's political structure and ideological reasons and impossible relations with America knows. On this second view believes despite the obstacles to regional cooperation and appropriate way practical to achieve this desirable Drrshhay economic, political and security there and REGIONALISM in Iran' s foreign policy is possible.
