Abstract

Value Added changes of Industrial activities stem from economic-industrial Policies are important determinant for recognizing INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE situation. This article analyzes INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE, and determines competitiveness power of each industrial activity, using industrial VALUE ADDED data of twenty three industries in industry sector of Iran, using common indexes like structural changes index average and competitiveness power index for the period of 1374-1384. Findings of structural analysis indexes show that, from studied industries with two digits codes of ISCI, production industries, other transportation facilities, trailer and vehicle production, paper production and paper products, basic metal production, material production industries and chemical products, and other nonmetal mineral products have had VALUE ADDED growth than basic year, which means they showed positive structural changes. Among different group of industries, industries categorized by two digit ISIC, cocking coal, nuclear fuels and refinery, material production industries and chemical products, and basic metals production, had respectively growth of 49.81, 7.10, and 5.49 percents, having highest amount of competitiveness index proportion for labor force.
