Abstract

Change is one of the biggest characteristics of organizations in competitive area. Organizations experienced fundamental changes. These changes guide organizations to new challenges, otherwise, if they don’t concern them their survival and success will be seriously threaten. This situation has led to revise on the business priorities and their strategic vision, and put their emphasis on matching to environmental changes and responding through modern cooperation and virtual organization. Organizations have developed new approach called AGILITY for responding these challenges. In this research it is tried to show that whether AGILITY capability is desired in the Mazandaran POST OFFICE or not? For this purpose, by preliminary study of four variables of accountability, competence, flexibility and speed, and for reaching to studied goal, and designing questionnaire, the data were analyzed using information statistical software. The results show that the mentioned office doesn’t have the AGILITY capability and there is a gap between present and desired situation.
