Abstract

The first thing that comes into the mind when talking about any subject is contemplation in the meanings of the vocabulary, and remembering the opposites through which many things are clarified. In fact, the terms "dialogue" and "revival" are opposing in meaning the terms "silence" and "inaction" But, if it is easy to expect the results of silence and stagnation, the results of the dialogue and revival necessitate many of the presumptions and possibilities, and they need for practice much of the obligation and discipline. Silence, is quietness, and the dialogue is letting the participants hearing and listening, whereas in stagnation, the state of the thing or subject remains as before, while revival is a verb, interaction, taking and giving. As a matter of fact, the dialogue is an approach for the purpose of understanding, cooperation, and exchanging views and notions. So, it is a good means or instrument among human beings. Besides, it is a proper way of understanding among them, and a target which aims at persuasion, and finding solutions for the difficulties and dilemmas, and settling many hard and perilous issues. Hence, the dialogue has specific disciplines and conditions for managing it.No topics or dialogues are achieved without achieving some fruitful targets, aims, and joint interests, where the two or more parties, or the neighboring sides are meeting together for useful, and mutual benefits.Anyhow, the affair in this extension and expansion needs a lot of research, and necessitates continuous Endeavour, especially, nowadays, where the world is governed by united groups of states, regional organizations and national interests. Besides the world is tied and connected by economic powers, and development objectives. Moreover, it is governed by the media and scientific, cultural, intellectual, religious and political powers, while they, are competing and conflicting with one another.Therefore, the language of the dialogue has become the first required language, in the world, where the language of the culture and media has become stronger and more powerful than the language of weopons and wars.Undoubtedly, we live in a world which uses the language of liberation instead of occupation, and the language of economic development instead of imperialism or colonialism, the language of coexistence instead of the language of conflict and quarrel. Hence, the dialogue has covered all the aspects and affairs of life. That is to say, it has its own literature, practices, styles, and methodology. Anyhow, the dialogue develops and advances according to the elevation of the civilizatory standards of the participant party. And, it deteriorates according to the decline of the language used in it, owing to the lack or absence of proof, evidence and good logic.Finally, it is necessary to say that the Islamic call for the right dialogue and fruitful debate is discussed here in detail.
