Abstract

One of the most common strategies in using the Holy QURAN verses is DERIVATION. Joveini’s TARIKH-E JAHANGOSHA which is one of the most famous written texts in TECHNICAL PROSE has enjoyed this strategy a lot. The present article studies the DERIVATIONs in Joveini’s TARIKH-E JAHANGOSHA as well as its types from different points of view. One of the considered factors in the present article is the grammatical positions in the verses of the Holy QURAN. In Joveini’s TARIKH-E JAHANGOSHA the author has used the verses of the Holy QURAN on one hand for its richness in semantics and on the other hand for its aesthetic atmosphere.
