Abstract

Increasing the role of modern means of communicating in different parts of human life has led them to be used in various fields. The news media as one of the most important institutions of society, with its impact on opinions, opinions and other dimensions of human life, creates certain social and political realities for the people and determine our vision of the world. Today, the use of mass media is a prerequisite for achieving Political Development, since mass media have left a dramatic impact on the social, political, and cultural spheres of societies since its inception. The question which the present article uses in the descriptive-analytical method to respond to it is that what is the position of the political and broadcasting organization, especially in the post-Islamic society, in Iran? And was it really possible for this medium to succeed in the process of realizing and institutionalizing Political Development in the Islamic Republic? From the presented topics, it can be seen that The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting has provided a good place to revive the lost dimensions of Political Participation and democracy, although it has suffered in severity from time to time.
