Abstract

In this paper an index in order to finding cost of a unit progress and regress, according to MALMQUIST PRODUCTIVITY INDEX has presented. This index is defined regarding to cost frontier changes and cost EFFICIENCY changes which it called as cost MALMQUIST PRODUCTIVITY INDEX. Using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Technique, we calculate the EFFICIENCY value and the distance any unit of cost, frontier. Using this index and also DEA models, it can be calculated to progress and regress of decision making units (DMUs), so that it able increases information of manager.
