Abstract

Economic management units of agriculture is a major factor in increasing production and performance and also reducing costs and agricultural inputs. Therefore, the efficiency of crops of jahrom city has been evaluated and then interval and TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY and input slacks have been calculated for the five products of this city. This study was based on DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS and statistics and information obtained through the completion the 120 questionnaires from farmers in three parts namely central, khafr and kordian and agricultural jahad and regional water organization experts in Jahrom city. result showed that the mean of INTERVAL EFFICIENCY is in the interval (0.230, 0.858). the average TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY is 0.966 and 75% from data are performance equal to one. Maximum and minimum efficiency is 100% and 88%, the surplus value for the water input in the case of constant return to scale, in barley and wheat, was 373.915 and 610.46 cubic meters per hectare.
