Abstract

 The purpose of the current research is to investigate and review present situation and quality of staff's ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT who are working at hospitals in Golestan who are under the control of social securities organization and also the effects of various job identity basis on the mentioned quality, in order to use these information at different stages of human resources management process. Statistical population of this research is all of the staff of Golestan hospitals which are under the control of social securities organization: official, contraced and hourly employees in 1387 (2008-2009). Among from 738 employees: 339 from Gorgan hospital and 399 from Gonbad hospital were selected that the sum up is 738 person.180 were chosen for final analysis. Sampling approach was based on the PPS (this is proportional to the size) in hospitals.The present research method is surveying method and Correlation Cooficient that is mentioned in the literature section. The tools of the collecting data were document and library study and in hypotheses section was questionnaire. After determining the validity and credit of the questionnaires by SPSS. The results interpreted by descriptive and analytical process. Data analyses at descriptive section were performed by using frequency and percentage tables and rejecting the hypothesis test section by using One-way Anova, Two-way Anova, Toki and T test.Findings of the research indicated that there is a meaningful relationship between ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT and occupational (job) identity.Generally speaking the employees with good and successful identity (position) have the highest ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT; otherwise while employees with distorted identity have the least ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT.There was not any meaningful relationship among variables interactions, and there was only a meaningful relationship with job identity bases and ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT among employees with job background.
