Abstract

 Background and aim of the study: According to new reproductive technology INFERTILITY and its cure have effects on various aspects of human life. New reproductive techniques make infertile couples hopeful toward their future. Studying consequences of INFERTILITY and its cure are very inportant from psychological and social views. Etera Uterine Insemination, considering the role of mothers and the valueness of children in culrtural and social norm of each society, is very vital to investigate in society.Method of the study: The main concern of this research was to study social consequences of applying Assisted Reproductive Techniques in women under tratment. The participants of the present study were 50 women from available samples, who refered to training, treatment center of Sari Emam khomeni hospital in 2008. Information were collected from a two-part questionnaire and results were interpreted through descriptive statistics, frequency, X2 test and spss.Findings: indicate that 56 percent of women are worried about others to be informed about their fertility with laboratory methods.Findings also reveal that following treatment procedures with modern technology, due to creating hopes in treatment, increase marriage consent and decrease the side effects of INFERTILITY and reduce marriage dissatisfaction.Conclusion: Using Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) cure INFERTILITY, change society’s PRESUPPOSED ATTITUDE and givie more information to people.So these changes of the attitudes increse social and leggal support of women in using LIFE OPPORTUNITIES as an active part of society.
