Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the familial factors in cultural status of university community, examined the cultural status from three angles; religious, political and social ones. The method of this research is survey sampling and its targets were university students, professors and university staff. To define the capacity of the sample a Kokaran formula was used and 800 participants were selected through a cluster sampling. The reliability of the questionnaire was reviewed by the use of Koronbaakh's Alfa. And it was % 83 for professors, %86 for students and %88 for the university staff were resulted. Religious and political tendencies and the social status as the cultural status indexes in universities were examined. In order to analyze the data, considering the nature of the research, first the data was interpreted by using SPSS. According to the kind of hypotheses, the researcher conducted Inferential Enter Variance Analyses (Covariance) and also One Way ANOVA.
