Abstract

The main objective of this present research was to examine the relationship between some economical- SOCIAL FACTORS on public high school STUDENTS' SOCIAL IDENTITY in GilanGharb in the educational year of 2009-2010. In order to select sample volume, Cochran formula was used and 278 individuals had been selected. The data analysis demonstrated that there was no significant correlation between economical- social variables and personal identity and relational identity of STUDENTS. There was a significant correlation between economical- social variables and SOCIAL IDENTITY and COLLECTIVE IDENTITY of STUDENTS.
