Abstract

ONSOROL-MAALI is of the scholars and Emirs of Ale Ziar dynasty whose well-known work, THE QABUSNAMEH is ponderable from the literary, historical, political and social point of view. The narrative prose and its texture with different fables has made it deserved to be investigated from narrative literary aspect. Having elements such as limited space, deficient time, and limited characters have ranked this STORY among the short STORY works. Based on the most important element of the fiction, this article deals with the surveying and analyzing 'the character' in this valuable work. The romanticizing power of the author shows that the stories of this book, because of the diversity of the topics and inclusion of political and social problems has manifold characters, especially men with political and social problems. The contribution of the women in that brief work is because of their wisdom and boldness.
