Abstract

This study aimed at studying LEARNING STYLES and PROBLEM-SOLVING STYLES of UNIVERSITY STUDENTS. To this aim, 450 students were selected through stage cluster sampling strategy from among all student of Marvdasht Islamic Azad University. Felder-Solomon's LEARNING STYLES and Heppner's PROBLEM-SOLVING STYLES questionnaires were administered to the sample. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between students' LEARNING STYLES and their PROBLEM-SOLVING STYLES. It was also indicated that there was a significant relationship between students' major and the patterns of use of both LEARNING STYLES and PROBLEM-SOLVING STYLES. Further it was revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the pattern of use of PROBLEM-SOLVING STYLES of male and female students.
