Abstract

The present study examined the relationship between RESILIENCE and QUALITY OF FRIENDSHIP with LIFE SATISFACTION among STUDENTS. The research method was descriptive correlational. Data collection included Psychological RESILIENCE Questionnaire, QUALITY OF FRIENDSHIP Questionnaire and LIFE SATISFACTION Questionnaire. The population included 19,835 male and female high school STUDENTS in Yazd. The sample consisted of 390 STUDENTS (196 male and194 female) who were selected by multistage cluster random sampling. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results showed a significant relationship between RESILIENCE and LIFE SATISFACTION. But there was no significant relationship between QUALITY OF FRIENDSHIP and LIFE SATISFACTION. The results of the regression analysis revealed a significant model. According to the above findings it is suggested that teachers and parents help the STUDENTS due to the variables such as RESILIENCE and QUALITY OF FRIENDSHIP to increase LIFE SATISFACTION.
