Abstract

Life Style is one of Alfred ADLER's theories. He sees each person's LIFE STYLE having generated from his/her creative power, which is realized in society, job, and love. This paper takes a psychoanalytic approach to study the topics of society, job, and love as ZAL's and BAHRAM's LIFE STYLEs and in order to shed light on the personalities of these two characters and some people in relation with them. For this purpose, the reason for ostracizing ZAL and BAHRAM, their fathers' behavior (Sam and Yazdgerd), their birthplaces, and their parents have been scrutinized in a parallel manner, and then ZAL and BAHRAM have been studied in the three areas of society, job, and love. ZAL and Bharam act reasonably in all the three mentioned areas; they are accepted in the society, they are considered to be competent for the administration of the country, and they forgive their fathers with love. That is how ZAL reaches "Rostam," and BAHRAM achieves "wisdom."
