Abstract

Plot and EXPRESSION OF MEANING are the issues gained attention of the poets and this point has led to differentiation among the poets. Iben Yamin has employed different styles and devices for plot and expression of the meaning in his fragments. This article examines these styles in three sections of structural (narrative, story and dialogue), explanatory and citation (inference, citation, impetration, description and reference to verses and narratives and quotation) and rhetoric (simile, allegory, and symbolic expression and rhetoric question). The purpose of the poet in using these styles was diversity in expression, avoiding uniformity and satisfaction of the reader and ornamentation of the speech and finally influences the reader; according to the didactic and guidance aspects of his fragments, expression style was important for him to gain attention and acceptance of the readers.
