Abstract

Ibrahim Golestan as a writer and a novelist has had a tangible and distinguished influence on the writers of his next generation. His tunable, melodic distinguished prose which is influenced by Sa’di’s melodic and tunable prose in one hand and also influenced by his contemporary American writers such as HEMINGWAY has a distinguished and perfect form in story collections such as “Azar, the last month of fall”, “the hunting of shadow”, “raceway and wall and the thirsty”, “fashion and fog” and the novel “rooster”. This form faces subjective and lingual perceptions from writers of his next generation in a way that we can say that, the range of the dominant language over the contemporary story LITERATURE and creation of ways of language contact, like creation of tunable and poetic areas in the context of language are clearly rooted in EBRAHIM GOLESTAN’s Writings. The present research attempts to analyze the influence of Erahim Golesatn on the contemporary literary atmosphere in Iran by reviewing the special features of his style and his influence from other old and new writers.
