Abstract

In this research, polyester/viscose (35/65) yarn in two twist direction (Z&S) used. And different type of test such as: twist and yarn number tests, strength, and pilling and unevenness (%cv) tests have done on yarns. Then samples in four types: S twist, Z twist, S and Z twist (with alternate bobbin) and two S and two Z in plain knitting with three stitch length have made.Altogether 12 fabrics sample has been studying which from each sample, five 30×30 samples have taken and the CURLING after keeping in dry relaxation for 24 hours, have determined in same condition. The result shows that: the yarn with Z twist has more effect on CURLING because of having same direction of machine rotation, and in alternate bobbin of Z and S type the CURLING reduced considerably because of deactivation effect of each other. And by increase stitch length in all samples the CURLING will decrease too.
