INVESTIGATION OF WRINKLE RECOVERY OF COTTON/POLYESTER FABRIC VIA NANOTIO AND 1, 2, 3, 4, BUTANE TETRA CARBOXYLIC ACIDS

Abstract

 In this research with poly carboxylic acid BTCA with SHP catalyst and Nano Tio2 by pad-dry method, wrinkle recovery behavior and toursional force (wrinkle force), for COTTON/polyster blended fabric (35.65) were studied. The method was testing in fluence of BTCA and Nano tio2 alone and in compound from and systematic studied on samples. Samples that done by electronic microscope (SEM) and also wrinkle recovery tester and wrinkle force tester were evaluated and compared. Results showed that applying Tio2 and poly carboxylic acid at the same time will increase the performance of durable press finish on COTTON/polyster blended fabrics in compare with each of them individually.
