Abstract

 The applications of some Nanocomposite are developed extensively in textile industry nowadays. Nanocomposite of chitosan/ nano silver are one of the nanocomposite applied for wrinkling –antibacterials properties on textiles. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effects of chitosan/nano silver nanocomposite on crease behavior of cotton fabric especially cross linked cotton fabrics & effect Antibacterial of E. coli and S. aureus & properties Stretching strength with Polycarboxylic acids. Samples were treated with nano composite of chitosan/nano silver and citric acid separately or concurrently by Impregnation & cur method. Samples were characterized by colonies antibacterial and wrinkle recovery tester. Results showed that applying chitosan/nano silver and a Polycarboxylic acid at the same time will increase the performance of durable press finish & ANTI-BACTERIAL on cotton fabrics in compare with each of them individually. But the ability of Stretching Strength to rupture decreased by increasing curing temperature for each of the materials.
