Abstract

The present study aimed at comparing the psychological symptoms of patients suffering from chronic PAIN and normal individuals in Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI); therefore, 321 individuals (193 individuals suffering from chronic PAIN and 128 normal individuals) were selected and tested by the administration of Medical Evaluation of PAIN Questionnaire. Results indicated that the two groups differed in the rate of dysthymic disorder, post traumatic disorder and pseudo- physical symptoms of anxiety disorder.
