Abstract

In present article an attempt has been made to study the causes of the United States opposition to nuclear technology of Islamic Republic of Iran in the light of the SECURITY of Israel. For explaining this problem, first the factors which bring traditional close ties between the United States and Israel including common STRATEGIC INTERESTs and SECURITY threats are discussed within the framework of DETERRENCE theory, the expansion and growth of Iran as a SECURITY threat for the two strategic alley is considered which has led to reduction of the superior place of the United States and Israel regional and global position. The finding of the study shows that preventing the acquisition of nuclear technology by Iran is the common STRATEGIC INTEREST of both the governments. The article by an illustrative method and presenting suggestions has examined the above issue.
