Abstract

The SECURE SOCIETY is regarded on that never physical conflict takes place in it between its members, but they solve their conflicts by peaceful means. In contemporary world, the most important SECURE SOCIETY is considered the SECURE SOCIETY of Western Europe which has three principal institutions as follows: North Atlantic Treaty, European Union and the Organization of European Security and Cooperation. All secure societies define themselves so that devised society between “self” and “other” which create a sense of to be another. This links SECURE SOCIETY theories to the constructionist views. Secure societies attempt to extend their borders beyond the region of main members and establish especial institutions to do this. In the secure Western Europe, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is pioneer of expansion. The article objective, by using historic and descriptive method, is to examine how the Western Europe SECURE SOCIETY has extended through NATO institution.
