Abstract

This research was conducted to recognize the effectiveness of GROUP COUNSELING based on REBT on SELF CONCEPT and school DROP OUT of girl students.In this research statistical universe of survey were all female students of Azad university of Dezful, who had failed their exams in two consecutive semesters. among them 32 girl students randomly selected from all of exam-failed students in two semesters of year 2009.and also they were divided randomly in two 16 persons groups consist of experimental group and control group and has analysed using MANOVA and ANOVA.Results showed that the positive SELF CONCEPT and school successes (scores average) had significant increase in experimental group in compare of control group after intervention of GROUP COUNSELING. which showed the positive effectiveness of GROUP COUNSELING based on REBT on SELF CONCEPT and school successes.
