EFFIICACY OF EXCUTIVE FUNCTION INSTRUCTION ON IMPROVEMENTOF ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS WITH MATHEMATIC LEARNING DISABILITY

Abstract

 This study have been performed with purpose of study the executive function instruction efficiency WORKING MEMORY instruction, PLANNING INSTRUCTION, METCOGNITION instruction on school function improvement in students with mathematics learning disability. Society statistic are consist of third base school students with mathematics learning disability in Isfahan, year 1388-1389. To perform this study 40 children with mathematic learning disability have been selected with random cluster multistage method and have been divided accidentally in to study group and control group (3 study group with 10 members and one control group with 10 member). The method of the study was experimental. The interventions have been performed on studies group (working memory instruction, planning in straction and METCOGNITION instruction). The used tools were consist of Nepsy never psychology test Wecshler scale. Key math Iran test and mathematic academic performance test. The data analyzed with covariance test The results showed that WORKING MEMORY instruction and METCOGNITION instruction are effective on educational performance of students with learning disability.
