Abstract

This research was to compare INSOMNIA, SLEEPNESS and SOCIAL SUPPORT in depressive and non-depressive pregnants of Ahvaz. The sample subsumed 90 pregnants (42 depressive) and (48 non-depressive) who were selected via simple random sampling. Instruments were INSOMNIA Questionnaire (ISQ), SLEEPNESS Questionnaire (ESS), SOCIAL SUPPORT (winfeild Timman) and DEPRESSION (BID).Research design was based on causal–comparative method and multiple factor variance analysis (MANOVA) at p<0/001. Findings showed a significant difference between depressive and nondepressive pregnants suffering from INSOMNIA and SLEEPNESS but there was not a significant difference between depressive and non-depressive REGNANT’ SOCIAL SUPPORT.
