Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate relation of GENDER and MARITAL STATUS variables with attempted SUICIDE by meta – analysis. The method of research in this study was META-ANALYSIS.93 conducted researches in Scientific Information Database and Noormags web magazine were studied.22 researches with 30203 subjects were selected randomly from among the articles which were confirmed based on the correctness of the different processes of research administration.Chi Square test used for analyzing of data. Results of the META-ANALYSIS indicated that there was a significant relation between GENDER and MARITAL STATUS variables with attempted SUICIDE in 0/00001 level. The present study revealed that frequency of SUICIDE was more in women than men and more in single than married people. In other words, single girls had the highest frequency of attempted SUICIDE.
