Abstract

The aim of this research was the relationship between SPIRITUAL COPING and LIFE SATISFACTION with MENTAL HEALTH among the students of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz. The sample of research was 300 people (150 female and 150 male) between the students of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz that they choose from the stratified sampling. The instrument for gathering data was: SPIRITUAL COPING questionnaire, Diner and Pavet LIFE SATISFACTION (SWLS) and the general health scale (GHQ28). This is a correlative study and for analyzing data canonical correlation and multiple regression were used. The results of research shows that among the SPIRITUAL COPING and LIFE SATISFACTION with MENTAL HEALTH have the simple and multivariate relation, but among the predictive variables, just LIFE SATISFACTION negatively and significantly can predict the MENTAL HEALTH disorder of the students of the university.
