Abstract

Present research intends to consider PARENTING METHODs of parents with their 14 to 17 years old ado-lescents social suffering from phobias in Ahvaz. The statistical sample consisted of383 adolescents (196 female and 187 male) selected in multi-process randomized sampling method. The study in-struments were Bamrind parenting questionnaire and social phobia inquire (SPIN). Present studywas of correlation type. Data analysis results using Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariable Regression statistical methods showed that no significant relation was found between PARENTING METHODs of parents (despotic, ignoring, authoritative) and ADOLESCENT SOCIAL PHOBIA. A significant relation was seen between the parent's social phobia and ADOLESCENT SOCIAL PHOBIA.
