Abstract

This research aimed at studying the effect of PROBLEM SOLVING SKILL group training on wives of satellite workers in an induatraial company in Ahvaz. The participants of this study included 30 wives of satellite workers who were selected using simple random sampling. The instrument in this study were Enriching and Nurturing Relationship Issus Communication Happiness (ENRICH). GENERAL HEALTH Questionnaire (GHQ). The research design was pretest - posttest with control group. After randomly choosing the experimental and control group, the intervention (PROBLEM SOLVING SKILL) was being done on the experimental group during 7 sessions, each session 90 minutes. When the training sessions finished, the post test was taken from all subjects of the two groups. For analyzing data, the descriptive statistic and also inferential methods such as MANOVA were used. The results showed that PROBLEM SOLVING SKILL group training increased GENERAL HEALTH and MARITAL SATISFACTION of experimental group in compare with control group.
