Title

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STRESS, EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVIANT BEHAVIOR IN ZOOB AHAN STOCK COMPANY EVIDENCES FOR MODEL OF STRESS-EXHAUSTION (NONEQUILBRIUM)-COMPENSATION

Abstract

 This research was administered with the aim of investigating the relationship between stress, EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION and organizational deviant behavior in Zoob Ahan Stock Company. Research statistical population were the employees' of Zoob Ahan Stock Company in autumn 1388 (about 7000 persons), which from them, 385 persons were selected for participating in research through stratified random sampling. Research instruments were JOB STRESS questionnaire (with 15 items and three subscales namely stress result from perceived inefficacy, stress result from limitation of responsibility and choice, and stress result from conflict and contrast), EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION questionnaire with 9 items and organizational deviant behavior questionnaire with 8 items. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient, structure equation modeling and mediation regression analysis. Evidences revealed that there are positive significant relations between JOB STRESS dimensions with EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION and ORGANIZATIONAL DEVIANCE BEHAVIORS. Also there is positive significant relation between EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION with ORGANIZATIONAL DEVIANCE BEHAVIORS. Results from structure equation modeling and mediation regression analysis revealed that, EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION played complete mediator role in relation between stress result from limitation of responsibility and choice with organizational deviant behavior. Also the results showed that EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION played the partial mediator role in relations between stress result from perceived inefficacy and conflict and contrast with ORGANIZATIONAL DEVIANCE BEHAVIORS.
