Abstract

Today, SUSTAINABLE TOURISM is regarded as a representation of the cultural identity and an important component in the economy of many countries. The development policy-makers around the world have identified tourism a clear viewpoint and a perfect means toward SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. RURAL TOURISM as a division of tourism not only protects the values and the beliefs, but also offers the chance of consistent SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT via providing local occupations and developing infrastructures; in this way, the uncontrolled migration of villagers to urban clusters and the consequent mental and emotional tensions will get reduced. As such, planning for development of tourism on the basis of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT of economy seems an effective policy which brings growth and perfection to the rural community. There appear some questions: what are the potentials for developing RURAL TOURISM? What approaches and strategies can be undertaken to develop RURAL TOURISM in SiminAbrou? Thus, the present article uses logs and field studies to present strategies for tourism in this village while identifying points of strength and weakness.
