Abstract

Increasing of urbanization in Iran and the formation of the great metropolis caused to become one of the most important issues the bulk of the appropriate spaces within the scope of major cities with high density and compaction of urban activities, and now the problem of the lack of open spaces in the big population centers is one of the most matters of the urban life. On the other hand due to the crisis of shortage of land and increasing of population and the destruction of lands and orchards to build residential apartments and consequently increasing the pollution and lack of green space per capita, the idea of the garden apartment arose to show how it can be incorporated with the nature of the human living environment. In this study, has done an overview of the basics of GARDEN APARTMENTS, and then using the method of analytic-descriptive and analytical- cause and so CVM method to estimate residents tends to pay of these residential complex. The data are collected by questionnaires. The results show that the number of 272 interviewed citizen, 188 person in approximately 70% of person tend to live in GARDEN APARTMENTS and 84 person in approximately 30% were not tend to reside in this collection and from 70%, 52 person TEND TO PAY the price of a typical house (1300000 tomans) in the desired area, 63 person TEND TO PAY much less than the price of conventional housing in the desired area, and 73 person TEND TO PAY much money greater than the price of a typical house in the area and eventually this price does not exceed 900 tomans more than the price of a typical housing.
