Abstract

This study aims to analyze the LOCATION of two existing sports stadium and facilities and provide theoretical and practical models to find the best land for the construction of sports facilities and safety compatibility criteria, population, availability and confidentiality of the Sport will follow. Scope of this study, all the places and spaces is sport BOROUJERD. In order to perform SPATIAL ANALYSIS functions of geographic information system (GIS) is used, based on the spatial and descriptive data collection, database based on any criterion of the Sport and the place was known. Unsuitable for construction of sports facilities was divided. According to the results, about 64 percent of the land suitable for the construction of sports facilities construction and about 13 percent of the land is very good condition. Sport in the range of 0.53 spaces per square meter per person is the amount of about 2.5 square meters per capita than the global standard is lowers. It is suggested, based on the results of this study in addition to sports managers informed of the status of the Sport range, can more reliably than the manufacturing facilities to action.
