Abstract

The nature has showed its cruel face to men with phenomena such as FLOOD during the history, while the men were unable and helpless against NATURAL DISASTERS not long ago and always thought to live peacefully with such disasters, but unfortunately they suddenly took place and many innocent people died. The river is regarded as the most dynamic system of the nature. In the MADARSO basin some factors including geology and soil, drought, change, land use, damaging of the vegetation, exploiting the bed, the intensity of the precipitation etc have a key role in occurring the FLOODs.
