THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY AND LABOR PRODUCTIVITY IN IRAN

Abstract

 This paper investigate the long-run relationship between the TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY and the LABOR PRODUCTIVITY in Iran during 1970-2007 and use Autoregressive Distributed Lags (ARDL) and BOUND TESTS approaches. Results explain that there is a mutual long-run relationship between TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY and LABOR PRODUCTIVITY, and TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY and LABOR PRODUCTIVITY have positive and significant effect on each other.
