Abstract

Cultural ANOMIE is the most important dimension of social ANOMIE, which is recognized at the level of social behavior. It is known as the situation that social behavior and social groups in society is performed outside the circle norms. This situation caused by weakness in the form of social norms and can be visible in social insecurity, moral decline, individual and group deviations, misuse of social relations, etc Cultural norms consider as should and should not be of behavior that exist as a form of social performance in the society, and when the power of using influence on performance lost, its outcome is cultural ANOMIE.The goal of this study is to survey the relationship between cultural ANOMIE and ADDICTION among young people. In this article, ANOMIE has been measured with variables such as pessimism, distrust and confusion. The sample size was 200 young addicted people aged 13-28 years from Tehran s districts No.2, 6, 10, 14. They were selected through simple random sampling. Data was collected through questionnaire; the data of research were analyzed thru descriptive statistics and Pearson s correlation test.Results show that cultural ANOMIE has influenced upon the tendency of people toward ADDICTION, also pessimism towards self and other lead to tendency toward the ADDICTION, Mistrust of people towards everything effects on drug ADDICTION, Individual confusion and chaos between norms impact on drug ADDICTION, also void of personality and life of persons can influence upon drug ADDICTION.
