Abstract

Diaries comprise a great part of RESISTANCE LITERATURE. Humor and satire are outstanding features of these diaries employed either to encourage or to mildly criticize different themes. Generally, these themes come from essentials of life and the warriors relations with their peers, family, and the enemy. Based on these themes the present study categorizes satirical diaries and examines their techniques.
