Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to develop an effective strategic service model for supporting the establishment of start-ups by Incubator Centers in Iran. The research sample comprised 191 approved centers and the research units belonging to 1337 members of the Board of Trustees. The research data were gleaned through a researcher-made and piloted questionnaire that was found to enjoy an acceptable reliability. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively via descriptive and inferential statistics. The normality of the research data was checked via the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine either parametric or nonparametric analyses were required. Further, the research questions were answered through Structural Equations Modelling. The findings indicated that the Service Types offered and the Intervention Phase in Incubator Centers were influenced by the origin of the ideas as well as the Activity Sector.
