Abstract

This article studies the relationship between the HISTORICAL EVENTS and their reflection in LITERARY WORKS. A summary of five historical event including the Arabs - Israeli Conflict, Bosnian war, Chilean Military COUP, CULTURAL REVOLUTION in China, and Hiroshima Bombardment have been chosen as examples and the stories inspired by these events have been studied briefly.This article believes that although LITERARY WORKS cannot be regarded as a direct and exact reflection of HISTORICAL EVENTS, these events can be inspiring for these works and a factor for presenting an imaginative picture of these events.
