Abstract

Today's one of the significant issues in development scope is the rate of the SOCIAL PARTICIPATION of women in deferent fields of the society.Women as half of the population has direct influence on society's development, and developmental trends should be based on women's active SOCIAL PARTICIPATION, but they always faced various obstacles, and much potential of them have been left untouched.Using a combined theoretical framework, the current survey is going to study the impact of SELF IDENTITY in SOCIAL PARTICIPATION. The sample population consists of 350 employed women in state organisations in central province and the sampling strategy used is random sampling. The data gathering technique is questionnaire which measures participation in formal and informal aspects.The results of the research indicate that the rate of women's total participation is low additionally informal participation is higher than formal ones. There is also significant relationship between independent variables such as LIFESTYLE, BASIC TRUST, and attitude toward GENDER - STEREOTYPES with SOCIAL PARTICIPATION.
