Title

LOW TEMPERATURE SYNTHESIS OF PEROVSKITE CATIO3 NANOPOWDERS USING BY MECHANICAL ALLOYING

Abstract

 In this research, CALCIUM TITANATE (CaTiO3: CTO) NANOPARTICLES have been synthesized via MECHANICAL ALLOYING (MA) without using heat treatment. Phase development and morphology of CALCIUM TITANATE were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The agglomeration of powder has shown in SEM images. The results showed the minimum time of CALCIUM TITANATE synthesis via MECHANICAL ALLOYING without heat treatment is 70 hours that formed and the range of grain size (apparent size) using Williamson-Hall equation is 69 nm.
