Abstract

Nowadays, that is called as a communication and information age. The most important tool of cultural activities is MASS COMMUNICATION. Which their role is important from criminologists, Lawyers, and officials of security and order affairs view point. And criminologists have analyzed MASS COMMUNICATION tools as social factors of CRIME. The aim of this article is recognizing the positive and negative effects of MASS COMMUNICATION and CRIME prevention in the society and optimum use of these mass media can be effective factor in reduction of CRIMEs.The method of this article is based on documentary manner. MASS COMMUNICATION (depend on how to broadcasting of news and incidents) can increasing insecurity sense, delinquency and CRIME or can reduce CRIMEs and increasing security sense with doing the positive role of notifying and expanding health life pattern in the society. Generally, view points of people depend on what is broadcasted and printed by MASS COMMUNICATION.
