Abstract

Background and objectives: The Special police for children was mentioned in the Children's and Juvenile Crimes Enforcement Act of 2004, but it was not ratified, nor was the implementation of the Development Plan, which was implicitly addressed the Special police for Children, and, therefore, in Article 31 of the Criminal Procedure Code of 2014 supported the Special police for children and adolescents and required the police organization to establishment it. Therefore, the authors aimed at explaining the role of the Special police of children in Social prevention of delinquency. Methodology: The present study aimed at investigating the Social prevention of juvenile delinquency using a descriptive-analytic method, library study and note-taking. Findings and Results: The measures taken by Special police for children are not merely a post-mortem and post-crime phenomenon, but by creating a psychological-pedagogical framework, proper collaboration with parents of children and School administrators and interaction with Social workers and NGOs would lead to preventive measures against Child delinquency. Therefore, it is desirable for the Special police for children to design and organize a differentiated and effective criminal policy in this regard.
