Abstract

Subject: After weapon smuggling, the greatest and most profitable trade in the smuggle world is smuggling NARCOTICS. Death traders for displacing and transiting NARCOTICS use the most complex and advanced methods and equipped weapons and vehicles. Esfahan County due to locating in the NARCOTICS transiting path ever is observing the transit of a part of NARCOTICS through its guarding area. This study explores the most effective methods for prevention of entering NARCOTICS to the commanding district of Esfahan Province in 2008 and aims to recognize the problems and their impacts confronting NARCOTICS smuggling.Methodology: exploring method for this research is descriptive-survey and statistical society is comprised of 130 employees of commander police stations who are involved or responsible in the field of defense against NARCOTICS that based on Morgan’s table 80% (97 persons) were selected from among them. Searching instrument is questionnaire.Results: The results of this research indicated that the INFORMATION METHODS have the most impact on confronting NARCOTICS smuggling in Esfahan County in 2008 and has the first rank. Then financial abilities and equipments are positioned in second rank, training of human factors in third rank, DISCIPLINARY METHODS in fourth rank and EPIC-TACTIC METHODS in fifth rank.
