Abstract

POLICE for their great mission of the security community, certainly needs the PARTICIPATION and cooperation of the people.This article resulted from research that has the same direction.The purpose of this research was to evaluate the role of POLICE's SOCIAL CAPITAL for people cooperation. Theoretically, this research has hypotheses with survey method and with a sample of 45 heads of Tehran POLICE stations. The results showed that people cooperation with POLICE is average and POLICE's SOCIAL CAPITAL is high. Demonstrating the four research hypotheses indicated that POLICE SOCIAL CAPITAL presence and PARTICIPATION in activities of his residence, POLICE cooperation, with people all play an important effect in increasing the cooperation people with the POLICE and correlation 0.88 between the variables and R2=0.77 confirmed this result.
