Abstract

 In respect that by proper environmental training can change awareness and attitude of people toward environmental protection. Thus, we can expect that people show environmentally friendly behavior. The Purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of educational –extension and psychological constructs on the ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR of WHEAT GROWERS in the Bukan County. To achieve this goal in this research, the survey method, which is from descriptive statistics, was used. The statistical population included 5473 WHEAT GROWERS which 357 of them were sampled by using the Morgan table. Sampling was carried out through proportional stratified random sampling method. For the data collection, the questionnaire was used. Face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the experts in this field. Reliability of the was achieved by using the composite reliability (CR). The results of confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the “validity” and “reliability” and “the goodness of fit for the latent variables”. Also Cronbach›s alpha coefficient was calculated which its amount for the different sections of the questionnaire was higher than 07/ that shows the different parts of the questionnaire have appropriate reliability. In order to analyze the data for both descriptive and inferential statistics the SPSSWin22 and LISREL 8.80 were used. The results showed that self-identity and environmental attitudes are main components psychological construct in the field of ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR. Also educational-extensional and PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORs had a significant and positive impact on ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR and totally 41 percent of dependent variable were explained.
