Abstract

The purpose of this research was to survey about ATTITUDE of agricultural students towards EMPLOYMENT in agricultural sector. Out of 800 agricultural UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS who were majoring in agriculture at BU-ALI-SINA UNIVERSITY during 2004 and 2008, 211 were selected as sampling data by a random method of classification. A questionnaire was developed to collect the data which was first validated by a group of extension experts also was pre-tested for reliability of questions by Alpha Cronbach test. The calculated Alpha Cronbach magnitude was 0.84 for the questionnaire. The results of multiple regression test (Enter Technique) showed that the agricultural EMPLOYMENT for undergraduates in future depends on seven factors: professional abilities of students; university relationships with EMPLOYMENT centers; available job opportunities; satisfaction from knowledge and information gained during education; governmental policies about EMPLOYMENT; current facilities, and interest about EMPLOYMENT in agricultural.
