Abstract

The ARMED FORCES of powerful countries have considerably paid attention to the military application of human sciences and attempt to progress in the field of MILITARY PSYCHOLOGY.The first and the Second World War gave an opportunity for psychology to show its competencies.Military psychologists have dealt with providing special services in psychometric laboratory, training camp and wars. Special and professional questionnaires have been developed and used for Screening, classifying and Placement in military Forces this movement has been continued after world wary nind In iran, like many countries, MILITARY PSYCHOLOGY had a positive impact an military forces and it is hopped to actualize in future, more clearly, MILITARY PSYCHOLOGY as a major has been commenced to accept student in both MSc and phD, MILITARY PSYCHOLOGY association has been established and finally, the MILITARY PSYCHOLOGY quarterly journal has been published.We should take this opportunity to provide logical and truthful services and respond to military needs.
